- Handbrake is commonly used for creating MP4 video files.
- Firefogg is a Firefox pluggin, commonly used for converting to Ogg and WebM video files.
Audio Encoding/Conversion
- VLC is commonly used for converting a variety of audio files, including MP3 and Ogg (Vorbis). This can be done by selecting "Streaming/Exporting Wizard..." from the "File" menu.
- 192(kb/s) is a good bitrate to use for web steaming.
