Configuration File

The configuration for MRTG is usually stored in /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg.

Rebuilding the Index File

To rebuild the index.html file for MRTG use:

# sudo sh -c 'indexmaker  /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg > /var/www/mrtg/index.html'

Running MRTG

MRTG is run automatically, every 5 minutes, through cron. The details can usually be found in /etc/cron.d/mrtg
